Item Description

From a discovery at the Shizhuyuan Mine around 2005, here we have a fantastic large cabinet which hosts fairly gemmy, sharp, lustrous, pseudo-pyritohedral, pale straw colored Calcite crystals sitting on a layer of drusy Quartz on three-dimensional matrix. The piece is in very good condition, with only a few tiny nicks. I really love how the piece displays. A slight pinkish fluorescence can be seen under UV light. The largest crystal measures 1.3 cm across. This piece would make a great addition to a worldwide Calcite suite, or a Chinese mineral collection. Very few of these pieces are available on the market now, so if you missed out when they were available, be sure to pick this one up. Valued at $800 in the inventory.
