From a discovery at the Shizhuyuan Mine around 2005, here we have a fantastic large cabinet which hosts fairly gemmy, sharp, lustrous, pseudo-pyritohedral, pale straw colored Calcite crystals sitting on a layer of drusy Quartz on three-dimensional matrix. The piece is in very good condition, with only a few tiny nicks. I really love how the piece displays . The largest crystal measures 1.7 cm across. This piece would make a great addition to a worldwide Calcite suite, or a Chinese mineral collection.
