Item Description

An extremely rare pseudomorph from the well-known locale, famous for epidote specimens but not for such things as this piece. Calcite has pseudomorphed a floater, scuptural stellate spray of ikaite crystals. The pseudos are also known as glendonite. MINDAT does not list ikaite for Prince of Wales Island.
