Item Description
A gorgeous specimen of these older Calcites (mined in the mid 2000s) featuring an alluring group comprising dozens of highly compressed "poker chip"-style calcite crystals of a silvery hue measuring up to 3.0 cm across, sitting on a previous generation of pinkish colored Calcite underneath. Many of the Calcites feature small sparkling "trigon"-shaped groups of metallic golden pyritohedral Pyrite crystals in the center of each crystal, creating a unique and distinctive effect. The vast majority of the crystals are undamaged, though a few contacts are visible. Still, a striking and highly displayable example of these beautiful pieces that are seldom seen on the market today.
