Item Description
A lovely small cabinet sized specimen from the Manaoshan Mine in China featuring a coverage of thin "poker chip"-esque crystals of grey-white colored Calcite, with individual crystals measuring up to 2.0 cm across on matrix. If you look closely, you can see that a few of the crystals have a small amount of sparkling metallic Pyrite oriented directly in the centers of the Calcites. Very little damage, and quite showy. I personally love this style of Calcite, which has been seen from several Chinese localities in recent years. From the collection of Carl Acosta.
