Item Description
Stunning and rare 360-degree small cabinet dense "pincushion" of calcite scalenohedrons from the 1987 find at the well-known and extinct Annabel Lee Mine of Illinois. The striking, beautiful, glassy, gemmy straw-yellow spikes reach about 1.5 cm long. Complete all-around and in fabulous shape, for all the crystal density, with very few broken crystals. The small attachment is out-of-sight on the back. Ex Richard Rossi Collection. Richard is a Senior Fellow of the Mineralogical Record. An outstanding and rare style calcite from the singular 1987 find at the famous locale.
