Item Description
A super cluster of sharp, gemmy Calcite crystals from the famous Wessels Mine. The luster is top quality, too. All the crystals have complex faces and attractive WIDE beveled edges. The largest crystal, itself twinned, is gemmy and a full 4 cm along one dimension. The two main sides of this piece are composed of two large crystals, and those four interlace as if the were internally twinned (and they in fact are) along what looks like a ratcheted edge. Quite unusual, and very interesting visually and mineraqlogically. Aesthetic and classic, this is a fine example from the famous Wessels Mine. valued $400
