Item Description
This is certainly one of the most unusual and outstanding calcite specimens we have seen from Hardin County. Striking, lustrous and translucent, intergrown rosettes of rich honey-amber, curvilinear, lenticular calcite crystals comprise this very aesthetic specimen. The rosettes are a rich brown in normal light, but GLOW golden-amber in bright light! The rosettes certainly look like a jumber of rose buds, as the patterns are amazing. Very fine and uncommon material from the famous Minerva # 1 Mine. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
