Item Description

Mineral specimens of any variety are rare from this less well-known former underground Ag-Cu-Au-Pb-Mn-Zn mine in Pinal County. Calcite and opal in a chalcedony geode is VERY RARE. Ivory calcite spires to 1.7 cm are dramatically scattered in the chalcedony geode lined with juicy, translucent, light gray, opal botryoids with waxy luster. Neon-green SW opal fluorescence. Probably older material, but no proof. RARE and excellent combination material from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Formerly in the collection of Dorothy Guild of Spokane, Washington, according to Bob's label. A MUST for the locality or species collector. Value of such a unique rarity??
