Item Description

Classic lustrous, translucent, striated, blocky, butterscotch-colored wulfenite prisms are densely intergrown on two sides of the sculptural miniature. The wulfies rest on sugary masssive calcite and are partially overgrown with secondary sparkly, tiny, drusy calcite rhombs, which adds contrast and pizzazz. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 7926 and acquired from Scott Williams. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
