Item Description

A striking gem, facet-like, 2.3 cm complex doubly terminated calcite crystal is dramatically perched atop blocky crystallized tetrahedrite matrix accented with brassy pyrite microcrystals on this very showy and sculptural miniature combination from the famous San Martin Mine of Zacatecas. The impressive 360-degree calcite is nearly pristine, with only a few trivial scuffed edges. The side car adds pizzazz. San Martin is famous for outstanding calcite specimens and this is a fine combination example from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
