Item Description

A very fine, old-time combination specimen from this historic lead-zinc mining district. Glassy, transparent to translucent, highly modified, light gray-green, calcite scalenohedrons totally and attractively cover the matrix of sphalerite and calcite. The dramatic, doubly terminated, crystal perched on the edge of the plate is 1.8 cm. Classic and uncommon material from the Herb Obodda Collection # 988.
