Item Description

An excellent and showy, two generation calcite combination specimen from the famous Boldut Mine at Cavnic. Tiny, sparkly, white, prismatic calcite crystals form striking spherical aggregates to 2.4 cm on a previous generation of lustrous, cream-colored calcite rhombs. A thin layer of quartz crystals or massive quartz underlies the calcites. Massive sphalerite is the matrix. The specimen is in super shape.
