Calcite on Sphalerite (Consie Prince Coll.)

Item Description

A beautiful diverging spray of golden-yellow calcite scalenohedrons is very aesthetically attached to a bit of sphalerite crystal matrix on this striking older specimen from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. Iron oxides are the coloring agent. In fine shape, with just one barely noticeable broken dogtooth and a trivial bit of periphery wear. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
