Item Description
A sculptural and cute combination small cabinet from the famous Denton Mine. Glassy, colorless calcite scalenohedrons are aesthetically scattered on the intergrown cluster of sharp, lustrous, jet-black sphalerite crystals. Some of the calcites are doubly terminated and the largest reach 1.3 cm. The sharp, large doubly terminated sphalerite is 3.2 cm. A bit of purple fluorite adds pizzazz. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 1501 and collected during pillar robbing in the last month of the mine's production in August, 1994. Choice and excellent combination material from the Denton Mine with multiple display views.
