Item Description

Classic, spherical aggregates of pearlescent, scintillating, calcite rhombs richly and attractively all sides of the mounded matrix totally covered with three shades of siderite rhombs, butterscotch, rust-brown and brown. Such combinations are quite rare from this historic locale. Excellent old-time material from the Fioravanti Colletion and obtained in an exchange with the Modena Mineralogial Museum in 1978. There are two old labels on the bottom.
