Item Description

This isolated / remote Chinese locality has become a prolific producer of fine quality crystallized mineral specimens. Here we have a beautiful small cabinet display specimen featuring a pair of gorgeous bladed soft golden colored Calcite crystals ("Blatterspat"), measuring up to 4.0 cm, sitting on a "nest" of sharp, lustrous, gemmy/translucent scepter habit Quartz crystals, which play host to a different generation of little rhombic white Calcite crystals. Overall, the piece is in superb condition, as I cannot find any major damage with the naked eye, and it appears to be completely crystallized all around, making it a complete "floater". A fantastic and incredibly showy, three-dimensional and aesthetic display specimen of this gorgeous material. Valued $2,000.
