Calcite on Rosasite (classic material) (ex Consie Prince Collection)

Item Description

A showy, older combination specimen from the famous Mina Ojuela and the Consie Prince Collection. The pretty, teal-blue, botryoidal and banded rosasite is covered by glassy, water-clear to translucent, colorless calcite crystals. The deeply set vugs in the sturdy gossan matrix enhance the showiness of this classic combination. There are some incomplete crystals around the peiphery, but the piece still looks very attractive up close. This is older material and is seldom seen on the market now.
