Item Description
The wonderful Calcite/Quartz combinations from here are both attractive and uncommon. The long, well-formed Quartz crystals are translucent, have textured prism faces, and highly lustrous terminations. What makes these specimens so special are the dozens of doubly-terminated Calcite crystals that preferentially populate the Quartz crystals. They are sharp, range up to 2 cm in length, and they, like the Quartz, have a preferential coating of Hematite. Even with a few of the Calcites having a bit of cleavage, the overall quality in nonetheless very good, and the aesthetics even better. Not necessarily valuable, but beautiful!
