Item Description

A very nifty, showy and unusual combination specimen from the famous mines at Naica and the Dick Heck Mexico Collection. Glassy, colorless calcite micro-rhombs preferentially coat the quartz crystals, that crazily project outward on all sides of the mounded matrix of intergrown, frosted and stepped-growth, light pastel-green, fluorite cuboctahedrons. A quartz crystal on an end is 2.5 cm and is doubly terminated. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with very few, barely noticeable, broken quartz crystals. Excellent combination material from this historic locale.
