An impressive, large, 4.8 cm, colorless complex calcite rhomb with frosted and unfrosted faces is very aesthetically set in a large quartz crystal lined geode from Illinois. The knobby quartz aggregates sparkle in bright light. The calcite is essentially pristine with only very gentle contacting. This is an exceptionally large and excellent combination example of the species and locale from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection. RARE on the market in this size and quality.
