Very glassy, transparent, gem-like, modified calcite rhombs with a pretty, light amber tint and faint striations are richly and attractively clusterd on the matrix of massive pyrite and sphalerite on this excellent, old-timer from the famous and long-closed lead-zinc mines at Shullsburg, Wisconsin. The calcite rhombs reach 3.0 cm and some crystal faces have striking rainbow effects under good light. Classic material from this noted locale.
