Item Description
This elegant combination specimen is highlighted by a colorless 4 cm long calcite crystal which is coated by drusy, iridescent pyrite, from this famous iron mining district. A second generation of colorless, lustrous and translucent calcite crystals, to 1 cm in length, has formed a wreath over the original calcite crystal. Just a really special piece, not big in size but impactful to the eye. In person, the contrast of sparkle, texture, and shape makes it stand out dramatically.
