A classic and impressive large combination plate from this famed New Jersey Traprock quarry. Glassy doubly terminated calcite rhombs, to 4.5 cm, with frosted faces are dramatically isolated on the thin, translucent crust of bladed spherical aggregates of mint-green prehnite. The large calcite is pristine, with the rest of the piece having only trivial periphery wear. Excellent quality and desirable combination material valued at $495 by the former dealer.
