A rare find of sparkly, mounded aggregates of glassy Calcite rhombs sit attractively atop a matrix of Malachite and Chrysocolla. The gemmy to translucent Calcites are about 1mm in size, and they have excellent luster. This small cabinet specimen is an aesthetic and classic combination from this historic Arizona locality, and probably dates back to the 1950s or earlier, with the mine closing in 1957. From the collection of Gary Weaver of Prescott, Arizona (1944-2019). Gary was an electrical engineer who worked for many years for Hughes Aircraft in California.
