A great small cabinet sized piece of this well known material. Some of the world's most recognizable and classic Hemimorphite specimens have come from Mexico. These specimens are some of the most aesthetic and eye catching pieces from this Ojuela. This specimen features many good sized, translucent, sharp, lustrous, individual prismatic crystals and "sheaves" of white Hemimorphite (partially colored red in areas from iron inclusions), which are topped by sharp, translucent, pseudo-pyritohedral crystals of Calcite measuring up to 1.1 cm. For the size, good quality and overall aesthetics of this specimen, it is a great Mexican display piece from this classic locality. Priced at $700.
