Item Description

Large and small, glassy calcite scalenohedrons richly and dramatically accent the mounded matrix of highly lustrous, translucent, rich grape-purple fluorite cubes on this very aesthetic and sculptural combination from the famous Denton Mine and the Ross Lillie Collection # 0295. The striking doubly terminated calcite is 3.4 cm and the fluorite cubes reach 2.8 cm. "Excellent luster and fine purple color", according to Ross's label. Mined in September, 1983. Valued at $1250-1500.
