Item Description

Very rare, old-time large combination material from this well-known silver mine. The Bell Mine and Highland Lass Mine were merged in 1930 to form the Highland Bell Mine. Botryoidal fluorite is rare worldwide and is EXTREMELY RARE from this mine, as are the scattered colorless, nailhead calcite rhombs. The numerous fluorite botryoids, with frosted faces, range from lavender to lavender-gray. The few broken balls reveal that the inner radial cores are mint-green! A thin crust of small quartz points underlies the fluorite and calcite. Neon-orange calcite fluorescence and purple fluorite fluorescence. Rare, possibly unique, rich, excellent and old large combination material from the Art Soregaroli Collection. A MUST for the locality or species collector! Value??
