Calcite on Fluorite (Lillie Coll.)

Item Description

Intensely sparkly, gem-like, limpid to translucent, colorless to tan, modified calcite rhombs, to 1.0 cm, are strikingly festooned on the color-zoned amber to blue fluorite cubes with purple edge phantoms on this very attractive and rich combination specimen from the famous Denton Mine. Pristine and the piece looks great from either direction. Ex Ross Lillie Collection 0797 and collected during pillar-robbing in April, 1991 from the Main orebody.
