Calcite on Fluorite (fluorescent) ex Obodda

Very glassy and transparent, light honey-yellow fluorite cubes are richly and aesthetically covered by translucent, glassy, colorless, complex calcite rhombs on this showy and excellent combination specimen from the Moscona Mine of Spain. The rhombs have nifty stepped-growth faces. The large rhomb is 3.2 cm across and the 3-D form really adds character. This fine combination piece has only minimal periphery wear. The calcites and fluorites are in great shape. This is not what you would expect to find from the land of great fluorites! Golden-yellow fluorescence to the edges of the fluorite cubes.
