Calcite on Fluorite (fluorescent)

Translucent, glassy, colorless, complex calcite rhombs to 2.9 cm nearly totally cover the very glassy and transparent, light honey-yellow fluorite cubes on this showy and excellent mounded specimen from recent finds at the Moscona Mine of Spain. This fine combination piece has only minimal periphery wear. The calcites and fluorites are in great shape. This is not what you would expect to find from the land of great fluorites! Off-white fluorescence to the fluorite.
