Calcite on Fluorite

Item Description

Glassy, translucent, grayish, calcite rhombs are aesthetically clustered on the 3-dimensional fluorite plate. The impressive, large doubly terminated rhomb is 3.7 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm and is nearly pristine, with just a bit contacting/bruising on each side (out-of-sight in the display view). Areas of hematite-included and coated fluorite crystals add color and character to the gemmy, honey-yellow cubes. A very fine, very showy combination specimen from this noted mine.
