Calcite on Fluorite

Item Description

A lovely and predominant golden Calcite scalenohedron is surrounded by a few smaller Calcites, which are sitting upon a royal purple cubic Fluorite crystal. The aesthetics, association and quality of the piece would make a great addition to a collection of minerals from the midwestern US, or even a Calcite suite. This material has almost completely disappeared from the market, and remains some of the most beloved Calcite/Fluorite specimens from anywhere in the United States. Good shape overall, with very little damage on the display side of the specimen.
