Lustrous, translucent, creamy-white calcite scalenohedrons, to 2.5 cm, are richly and attractively clustered on the sparkly, multi-hued, drusy smithsonite-covered matrix on this showy and excellent combination from this famous mine. The calcites spill over onto the back side of the piece, adding character. The piece has two fine display views and is nearly pristine, with only two, hard-to-see, cleaved tips noted on the periphery noted. Faint yellow-orange calcite fluorescence.
