Calcite on Dolomite (Karl Warning Coll.)

Item Description

A very elegant jackstraw cluster of seven, classic, gemmy, amber calcite crystals from this well-known locale. Most of the crystals are doubly terminated and reach 4.9 cm. The calcites appear to be holding the fragmented, sugary, micro dolomite rhomb matrix together. The calcites on the display view are pristine. The backside is nearly so, with only upper left calcite having gentle out of sight termination bruising. Classic and excellent Sweetwater Mine calcite.
