Item Description

A classic Tsumeb specimen featuring attractive, sharp, lustrous, translucent, off-white colored rhombic crystals of Calcite measuring up to 4 mm, sitting atop a starkly contrasting layer of drusy, sparkling, vivid orange-yellow Dolomite on matrix. My guess is that the Dolomite has a slight amount of cadmium content that contributes to the color, but it hasn't been analyzed to know for certain. From the collection of Brian Kosnar.
