Item Description

A classic and colorful, color-zoned, CABINET fluorite crystal beautifully highlighted with a rich sprinkling of tan calcite crystals from the famous Minerva #1 Mine of Illinois. The powder-blue edges really accentuate the shocking golden-yellow interior on this glassy, water-clear to translucent crystal with both intense, stepped-growth and smooth faces. This striking specimen can be displayed several ways, as the photos show - to highlight the calcite crystals or to show off the fabulous color zoning. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 43. Definitely older and very high calibre material.
