Calcite on Chrysocolla

Here we have a really showy and fine quality aesthetic display specimen featuring sharp, GEMMY, pale golden colored Calcite crystals measuring up to 1.1 cm sitting proudly atop good quality, saturated-blue green colored Chrysocolla. The Calcite group has an almost organic looking appearance to it, almost like a flower growing on top of "bubbly" green mounds of a garden. Very good quality all around, hard to photograph but better in person. If you collect Calcites, secondary ore minerals, minerals of Mexico or specifically those from Concepción del Oro, do not miss out on this one. I love the balance, color contrast and overall visual appeal of this one.
