Calcite on Chalcedony-Goethite-coated Fluorite (rare combo)

Item Description

An unusual specimen from the famed Okorusu Mine of Namibia: RARE radiating aggregates of bladed, glassy calcite crystals are aesthetically scattered on the sculptural large mounded combination specimen of black goethite-chalcedony upon the intergrown sharp fluorite cubes, to 3.9 cm. Complete all-around and in great shape, with only one bruised corner in the interior. A modest bit of periphery wear and the attachment on the bottoms reveals the classic glassy green, blue and magenta hues, typical of Okorusu fluorites.
