Item Description

A beautiful, rich golden colored (slightly speckled) rhombohedral group of Calcite which is smartly impressed upon a sparkling, sugary white Chalcedony-lined vug or geode of basalt. The Calcite group measures 1.4 cm on edge, and displays beautifully as you can see from the photos. Indian specimens may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant. Even though this piece is devoid of any Zeolite species, it's a great display specimen and worthy of any collection. From the collection of John Arnaud from Colorado.
