Calcite on Celestine

Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, amber calcite crystals are aesthetically set on the glassy, stepped-growth celestine blades on this very fine, two-sided combination specimen from the White Rock Quarry of Ohio. The calcites are all pristine, doubly terminated and reach 2.5 cm. Both ends of the celestine are lightly bruised, but this certainly a very modest detraction to this rather rare and excellent combination specimen from this noted locale.
