A striking spray of four Calcite scalenohedrons dramatically rises up from the sculptural, contrasting, large Celadonite matrix on this impressive and classic 360-degree specimen from Irai. The dominating large calcite is 6.3 cm long and the charming, isolated 3.0 cm long calcite plus the 4.3 cm long horizontal crystal are super complements. The translucent calcites are enhanced with their satin luster stepped-growth faces, typical of many calcites from the locale. The green Celadonite matrix, a Mica Group species, hosts many smaller calcites on one end.
