A unique and very showy calcite on calcite specimen from Dal'negorsk. Two, slightly flattened, calcite rhombs with a preferential overcoat of calcite microcrystals are dramatically perched on gemmy, water-clear, blocky, calcite rhombs. Complete all-around and pristine. This is a striking and very unusual form for Dal'negorsk calcite. This piece is probably from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine. Dal'negorsk has produced a stunning variety of calcites and this is a fine example. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
