Calcite on Calcite

Item Description

Two, extremely sharp, translucent, nicely tinted, intergrown, complex calcite rhombs are aesthetically perched atop mounded matrix covered with smaller calcite rhombs on this showy specimen from the famous Daye Mine of China. The large crystal is 3.7 cm and the trivial edgewear to the smaller crystal is certainly not much of a detraction, as you can see.
