Item Description

Pretty straw-yellow calcite scalenohedrons are festooned on the glassy hydroxyapophyllites over basalt matrix. Mineral specimens are uncommon and are seldom available from this well-known and extinct basalt quarry. Bright creamy-white fluorescence. Collected in 1965, according to the label. Excellent and rare combination material.
