Item Description
An impressive LARGE CABINET combination plate from a recent at Naica in the Fall of 2010. Gemmy and lustrous calcite scalenohedrons are festooned on anhydrite blades, that totally cover the matrix of anhydrite and sphalerite. This is an extremely large and fine specimen from this find, and is in great shape overall, for such dense coverage. The crystals may be small, but the sparkle and rich coverage is dramatic. 4.2 pounds or 1.9 kilos.
