The basalt flows of Irai, Brazil have produced some outstanding amethyst and calcite combination specimens and this piece certainly qualifies. Two, clusters of lustrous, translucent, lightly frosted, 3-sided, calcite crystals are aesthetically set amongst extremely glassy, water-clear, light purple amethyst points. This dramatic piece is complete all-around and pristine and looks fabulous from either side.
