Choice, lustrous, translucent, rounded calcite crystals to 2.5 cm with zoned growth cover the matrix on this showy old-timer from a less well-known mine in the historic St. Andreasberg District. Mineral specimens of any species are RARE from this ancient mine. Ex Miller Calcite Collection # 3028 and comes with another old label dating to the 1800s. Classic calcite.
