Classic, very glassy, water-clear, colorless, modified calcite scalenohedrons with waxy luster are festooned on this large, very fine and aesthetic large mounded specimen from the famous iron mines at Egremont. The crystals reach about 2.5 cm. AMAZINGLY, for all the crystal density, the piece is essentially pristine! Outstanding large old-time material in this size and quality. Fairly valued at $1750-2000.
