Glassy, transparent to translucent, calcite scalenohedrons dramatically cover this impressive large mounded plate from Cumbria. The crystals reach about 3.5 cm and some of the large crystals have nifty phantoms. The piece is in great shape, for all the crystal density, with only a few cleaved termiations. Choice and classic old-time large material. Valued at $1750-2000.
